Walnut is famous for its beauty. In fact, American walnut is still, to this day, the most commercially valued hardwood in North America. Also known for its high quality and dark brown colour, this wood species is used primarily in the manufacture of high-end furniture, caskets, architectural woodwork, and pianos.

At Victoriaville & Co., we work with American walnut by applying a Castilian coloured filler to its well-defined rounded shapes. Once polished by hand, this process brings out the hues of the wood. Each of our American walnut caskets is considered a work of art.
